Welcome to our
farm. We built our home and moved here in 1999 and it has been a
work in progress for us. We've jokingly called this our "green
acres" because we've made lots of mistakes along the way but,
luckily, we're both still around to tell on each other.
Jim grew up bird
hunting but had only read about horseback field trialing in the
American Field. We attended our first horseback field trial not long
after purchasing our first horses in 2000. He was hooked and within
the year we were competing at trials. We now run a small club and
host trials twice a year at Fort Campbell.
Pixie grew up with
a passion for horses but never had the chance to own her own.
Luckily family friends allowed her to ride their horses to keep that
love for all things equine going and now she is making up for lost
time. She is currently taking horsemanship lessons with her young
stallion and is enjoying her journey with her McCurdy Plantation
Horses.
